Lleolir pentref Llanilar tua 2.5 milltir i’r de-ddwyrain o Aberystwyth, mewn ardal wledig sydd yn gyfoethog o ran byd natur. Mae Ysgol Llanilar yn ysgol Gymraeg ac ar hyn o bryd mae 108 o ddisgyblion o bentref Llanilar a phentrefi cyfagos yn mynychu’r ysgol.

Mae pob aelod o staff yn cyd-weithio i ddarparu profiadau dysgu byw i’r disgyblion er mwyn ysgogi brwdfrydedd tuag at ddysgu. Ein bwriad yw creu naws gartrefol, ddiogel a hapus o fewn ethos Cymreig, lle rhoddir cyfle cyfartal i bob unigolyn ddatblygu hyd eithaf ei botensial.

Rydym yn annog pob disgybl i fod yn ddysgwyr uchelgeisiol a hyderus ac yn ddinasyddion egwyddorol. Credwn yn gryf mewn cefnogi lles pob disgybl ac mae hyn yn amlwg yn arwyddair yr ysgol, sef ‘Gwell gwneud eich gorau na bod yn orau’.

A warm welcome to Ysgol Llanilar's website. The aim of the website is to give you a taste of everyday life at school and to share the wide range of experiences our pupils enjoy.

The village of Llanilar is located approximately 2.5 miles southeast of Aberystwyth, in a rural area rich in nature. Ysgol Llanilar is a Welsh-medium school and currently 108 pupils from the village of Llanilar and neighbouring villages attend the school.

All members of staff work together to provide pupils with active learning experiences to encourage enthusiasm for learning. Our aim is to create a homely, safe and happy atmosphere within a Welsh ethos, where every individual is given an equal opportunity to develop to their full potential.

We encourage all pupils to be ambitious, confident learners and principled citizens. We strongly believe in supporting the wellbeing of all pupils and this is evident in the school's motto, 'It’s better do your best than be the best'.
